So the oddest result of this fiasco is that Hannah learned going after another dog AND disobeying a known command of "Hannah, COME!" is there ARE worse things in life beside a Utah bug bite. Much worse than ANY Utah bug bite was being disciplined by Dragon Roxanne ×÷=#!!!, in front of Kara and everyone. In the dog world, the Pack Dynamics went into overdrive as Hannah LOST her top dog Pack Status (which she has had when working in the Wed class and whenever we meet and work with Kara), she LOST ALL STATUS. THAT LOSS OF HER POSITION, coupled with the staunchest "OUT!" experience she has had by me, was the BEST lesson for Hannah right now in her life and training.

As hard as this was, it's like when we get to cocky, and God pulls the rug out from under our feet, and we wind up flat on our back looking up thinkng "Huh? What was THAT?" "WHAT DID I do that was so bad in your eyes, God?" And if we have any sense, we get our answer, repent of a wrong choice, make restoration if possible, and DO NOT REPEAT THAT MISTAKE. That's how we learn. And in parallel learning, this applies to dogs also.

So Hannah crossed a major line and paid the price tag for doing so. A lesson she will retain for the rest of her life, at least with me as I was the one who did the HUGE correction.

And Kara? She did not know what to do, so immediately yielded (smart dog), waited for Kim and myself to fix the issue with foolish Hannah, and SAW, HEARD, FELT the intensity of my "Out!###@×+!" Now, Kara had no idea if that verbal and visual correction was for her too, but whatever it was, she DID NOT WANT TO BE A FOOLISH DOG LIKE HANNAH so she opted to perceive Hannah was'poison' and she would be wise to avoid her like the plague. So as Hannah LOST her Top Dog Pack Status, Kara gained Top Dog Pack Status.

And so, as unexpected was this moment, both dogs learned VOLUMES a d this lesson was for life as they are both young and impressionable.

After that, nether would look at each other, did lovely Recalls away from each other (yes, that was easy for them to do), and worked in close proximity together easily.

And to ensure Hannah knew how much loss of Pack Status she had earned, I asked Kim to work her Hannah. That was, again deliberately so, hard on Hannah who tried to dominate Kim and oh my, once again received an "Out!" from Kim. More loss of Pack Status for Hannah.

She was mental T.O.A.S.T after all of that. Jessi, she will either challenge you or be noticeably complaint today when you work her. Depends on if she learned her lesson or not. Let me know.

My experience with Hannahnis that she learns and gets BETTER after tough training sessions like yesterday. So really interested in how she responds to you today, Jessi.

    Onward..life happens.
