2-7-2022 Week 4, Day 1 begins with Roxanne working Hannah

A lovely warmup in a phenomenal 'tunnel of tempting barking dogs' distraction setting'.  Hannah really had to work to say "No" to these 8 dogs, all in outside behind fences. WHEW!

Hannah is ahead of Kim/Kara and Dawn/Nellie so once the Week 3 EXAM # 2 was complete and passed, it was time for Week 4 new material. The Downs were MIGHTY interesting indeed. The first 6 were TOUGH, but worked Hannah through until she succeeded in submitting.

Here were her remaining Downs today. We did a total of 25 today.

Worked Hannah ON the curb to better her heeling (which is all over everywhere right now)

Worked on the Week 4 STAND circles.

Anyway, I got a workout working Hannah today. Also, she's getting mouthy and doing the licky thing which dissolves into her mouthy thing, so I put the kasash on that behavior totally today. Hannah figured out fast that my quiet "Out" (no collar correction) and no praise until she quit licking was communicating to her 'unacceptable behavior' and she quit in short order. Smart dog.

She's getting stronger and stronger so the recent need for constant corrective turns (collar corrections) are taking their toll on my old body.  I will be mighty grateful when we get through Week 6 and her ecollar training can begin. Hannah NEEDS TO RUN and there's no way to do that with her until we get to the ecollar training.  I am counting the days-:)
