3-12-2022 Saturday Recalls in new and VERY distracting location - Kim's pasture

Hannah was ready to work today, but I wanted to reinforce her Recalls using ecollar in a safe (and new location). I asked Kim if I could use her fenced pasture and she said 'Yes, anytime as well as Jessi can use also, just close the gates.' Anyway, this turned out to be a PHENEMENAL training session.

Zero distractions (except the cow pies)

Then, Kara as distraction

 THEN, GOATS as new distraction!!!

The video angle was off so you can't see Hannah, on PLACE, with goats walking around here. She broke twice when I petted the goat and got put back on Place Board with ecollar pressure. After that? She did NOT break again.

THEN, the 100 yard Stay effort. I have been drilling Hannah on her Stays and her Walk Away Stays and some out of sight Stays. Today, after all those ecollar lessons, SHE DID NOT BREAK HER STAY....and passed her Week 8 EXAM.
After that? There was nothing to do but let Hannah experience 'life without any restricting lines AT ALL'.

Yup, I let her roam Kim's pasture WITH NO LINES ON HER AT ALL. She wouldn't leave me, then spun out and did brodies, figured out there were NO lines on her body and then settled into exploring the pasture. First time Hannah has been able to move freely, without ANY line, ever. It was a VERY BIG DAY.

And how did Hannah do with Recalls and NO dragging line? Quite well actually.

ATTA GIRL, HANNAH!
