Yes, thanks to the City of Monroe and loving in real Utah, there are fantastic public places to train a dog or dogs in.
In MD, no dogs were allowed in any public place off-leash, you would get ticketed $50 per dog per incident for doing so. And no dogs ever allowed on softball or baseball fields so finding good outdoor training areas was always a serious challenge. This is one of the reasons we left MD, because of the restrictive laws. Well, MD taxes were sky high, the congestion was awful, living in suburbia Howard Country was highly restrictive, the topography is flat and there are thick trees everywhere so you can't see. There is no horizon, no mountains, just states of trees, trees, Nd more trees. Living there was claustrophobic. We ❤ being back here in the West with wide open spaces, room to breathe and move and run my dogs freely. And the extreme liberal mindset of the East Coast was a steady drain on our heart, soul and mind. Here, in rural Utah, people are much more conservative thinkers and open. We ❤ our life here.
